Nick Leniuk

Nick’s roots were forged in Kapuskasing Ontario and his life trajectory was shaped by the forest. He discovered his artistic voice by transforming trees into inspirational stone sculptures, creating his first piece in 2008. An outdoor enthusiast, his work brings technical precision to organic form, creating tactile works that pulse with quiet energy reflecting a deep reverence for the natural and spiritual elements of our world. Nicks’ artistic expression is a deeply rooted passion to reveal the limits of his artistic abilities and create art connected to his soul. Self taught, he is continuously refining his creative techniques through trial and error in his Peterborough studio, acquiring a mastery of hand-held stone shaping tools.
